Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union Inc (CMRFU) invites applications for 1 x Appointed Director and 1 x Independent Director, each for a 3 year term.

CMRFU’s purpose is to grow, empower and inspire our people through rugby.

 These positions will become vacant at the next AGM in March 2026.

 The independent appointment panel encourage applicants that:

• Have a strong expertise in corporate governance and skills strategy
• Commercial expertise, with an ongoing focus on revenue generation
• Accountancy or financial governance expertise desirable
• Have a passion to advance the interests of rugby in the Counties Manukau region
• Think strategically, and act independently, in the best interests of rugby across Counties Manukau

Diversity is a key consideration of the panel to ensure that the CMRFU board is inclusive and representative of current and future participants.

Applicants should demonstrate success as either a director or Senior Executive. Previous governance experience is preferred.
