COLTS DISPENSATION- U18 PLAYERS

• If the player is under the age of 18 on the 1st April 2025 they will need to have their Parent/ Guardian create a Rugby Xplorer Account. 
• Once their Parent/ Guardian has created an account the will need to link their child’s account to theirs. Steps on how to do this are here: https://d26phqdbpt0w91.cloudfront.net/NonVideo/b710dead-0b73-4a12-a16f-9d09db05b31d.pdf
• Then the Parent/ Guardian will need to click on the left hand side where it says "Consent forms" 

 

• Then select "Senior Rugby dispensation." 
• Continue to fill out the dispensation request form.
• Once completed, the TRFU will be notified and will then get in contact for a time to view the player. 
• In the online form it will tell you to download the medical form which will need to be signed off by a doctor and then sent to the Community Administrator to view (emma@trfu.co.nz)
• Any player that is U18 will need to complete this process before they can be put into a team and play in the CMK Club Rugby competition.

COLTS DISPENSATIONS- OVER 21 YEARS OLD PLAYERS

• If a player is over the age of 21 as of the 1st of April 2026 they will need to complete the Colts Eligibility Checklist to see if they are eligible to apply for a dispensation.
• The dispensation request will then be put to the TRFU Rugby Committee to decide if a dispensation will be granted. Dispensations will only be granted to those in exceptional circumstances.
