Grassroots Rugby Growth Series Returns for Year 9 & 10 Boys!
Mid Canterbury and Ellesmere Rugby are teaming up to deliver an exciting opportunity for U15 boys to enjoy more rugby before the season wraps up. The Grassroots Growth Series is back — a development-focused initiative designed to give Year 9 & 10 players two weekends of fun, fast-paced rugby.
Game Days:
- Saturday 16 August – Rolleston
- Saturday 23 August – Ashburton
- (Each day features 3 x 20-minute games)
This series is all about participation, connection, and enjoyment. Players will be placed in mixed teams, giving them the chance to meet new mates and experience the game in a fresh, supportive environment. There are no scores and no trophies — just great rugby and a positive atmosphere.
Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or simply want to get a few more games in before the season ends, this is the perfect chance to get involved.
