The Waratahs launched a late comeback but couldn't find the killer blow to leve the scores late.

Black Ferns winger Katelyn Vahaakolo crossed for a double to give the visitors a 12-point lead earlier in the second half.
But the Waratahs pack dragged down back into the contest and nearly sent the game into extra-time.
In the end, the visitors did enough to claim back-to-back titles in the crossover contest.
