Are you passionate about growing rugby and creating inclusive sporting opportunities? Rugby Union South Australia is seeking an enthusiastic Development Officer to join our team and help shape the future of rugby in South Australia.

About the Role

As a Rugby Development Officer, you'll play a crucial role in growing participation across Adelaide and surrounding areas. You'll work closely with clubs, schools, and community groups to create quality rugby experiences and build pathways for players of all backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver development programs across junior, school, and club rugby
  • Coordinate school-based recruitment and participation initiatives
  • Lead the High School Sevens competition
  • Develop and implement culturally appropriate programs for diverse communities
  • Support the growth of girls' rugby competition
  • Build strong relationships with schools, clubs, and community organisations
  • Assist with coach education and club development
  • Track and report on participation metrics and program outcomes
