CQ Q7s Regional Qualifier Delivers Strong Competition and Community Spirit

The Central Queensland Q7s Regional Qualifier was a highly successful event marked by strong participation, competitive matches, and excellent sportsmanship. Schools and participants demonstrated flexibility and teamwork, while volunteers played a key role in ensuring smooth operations.

Key results included:

  • Girls: Emmaus College (U14 winners), Rockhampton Grammar School (U16 & U18 winners)
  • Boys: St Brendan’s College (U14 & U16 winners), Marist College Emerald (U18 winners)

Qualification for the State Cup was awarded to:

  • Boys: Top two teams in each division
  • Girls: Division winners only

The tournament highlighted the strength of regional rugby and the positive development of players across all age groups.
