Kia ora team,

A bit of an update from the Upper Hutt Junior RAMS Committee

🏉 Thanks to our sponsors. This season we are lucky to have a few sponsors supporting us across all our grades. Better Interiors – supporting our RAMS Lambs Nursery squad Value Motors – supporting our Combined Rippa teams RentCare – supporting our Rippa and Tackle teams Gillies Group – supporting our Rippa and Tackle teams

🐏Combined Rippa and Nursery t-shirts. Thanks for your patience while we waited for the new t-shirts to arrive for Combined Rippa and Nursery. Players get to keep these t-shirts as they have been purchased by our sponsors for our kids for this season.

🏉 Do you want to join our committee? We have some spots for a Year 6 grade convenor, and a Year 0/1 grade convenor. Please email us on juniors@uhramsrugby.co.nz if you are interested in joining as a grade convenor and helping the committee do awesome things for our kids.

🐏Junior Club Day. This season we have our Club Day on Saturday June the 6th. Our Combined Rippa teams will play on Friday the 5th. We will also have our Senior club having their club day too, so it is going to be a busy day at Maidstone this year. We need some helpers on the day, please reach out to your convenor or flick us an email if you can assist with wrangling teams, cooking sausages or reminding people not to stand on the playing field during games. We would really appreciate some help.

🏉Purchasing t-shirts and hoodies. Your coaches and managers have been sent an order form for t-shirts and hoodies from a local supplier. We know the current supplier we have has been a little bit average, so we are doing a limited run for our club from someone who can actually deliver. Please contact your coach or manager if you haven’t seen any details and they can start putting an order together. This will be open until Friday the 22nd of May, with orders starting to be delivered to the clubrooms the following week.

🐏 Using Te Kupenga | Maidstone Hub. Just a friendly reminder that we share the Hub with lots of other sports and teams, so we want to make sure that we are being respectful when we are in there. We are super lucky to have an awesome facility, and we’ve got an excellent relationship with the staff that work at the Hub, we want to make sure it stays awesome.

🏉 Overdue fees. We have a large amount as overdue payments for fees. It does take a quite a bit to keep our club running, we have 450 kids and 38 teams this season, one of the biggest in the Greater Wellington region. Lots of stuff doesn’t happen for free unfortunately. If you are owing fees then please reach out to our treasurer and set up a payment plan, even $5 a week, if possible, this will help us make sure we can still do fun things in seasons to come.

🐏 Upcoming events. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and website for details for upcoming events. Including photo night, tournaments and pie fundraising details.
