Counties Manukau Rugby is proud to celebrate a strong contingent of Steelers named across the 2026 Super Rugby Pacific squads, highlighting the depth of talent developed right here in our region.

Leading the charge are Dalton Papali’i and Hoskins Sotutu, who return to the Blues, continuing to make their mark.

Etene Nanai-Seturo will again suit up for the Chiefs, joined in the Wider Training Group by rising Steelers Keran Van-Staden, Cam Church, Cohen Brady-Leathem, and AJ Alatimu, who will all be pushing for their first full-time Super Rugby opportunities.

Cam Roigard retains his spot with the Hurricanes after another standout season with Josh Gray named in the wider squad, while Ioane Moananu has earned selection with the NSW Waratahs, showcasing the international reach of Counties Manukau talent.

Representing Moana Pasifika, Jimmy Tupou, Jonathan Taumateine, and Tevita Ofa will continue to fly the Counties flag, bringing leadership and passion to the squad.

In the Fiji Drua setup, Zuriel Togiatama and Emosi Tuqiri round out a truly global Steelers presence across the competition.

We’re incredibly proud to see so many of our Steelers recognised at Super Rugby level,” said Steelers Head Coach, Reon Graham. “It’s a testament to the work our players, clubs, and coaches put in week after week - and to the pathways we’re building here in Counties Manukau.”

Counties Manukau continues to take pride in developing world-class rugby talent while staying grounded in its community roots. Congratulations to all our players taking the next step in their rugby journeys.
