Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe will host its first Super Rugby competition match in more than a decade, as Moana Pasifika takes on the Gallagher Chiefs on March 21st. The round six fixture was originally scheduled to be held in Nuku’alofa, Tonga. However, due to a Dengue Fever outbreak in Tonga, the venue has been moved to Pukekohe.

The last Super Rugby contest in Pukekohe took place on May 10, 2013, when the Chiefs played the Western Force. While the venue has hosted numerous pre season matches since then, this will be the first competition match in over 12 years, and the region is excited to bring Super Rugby back.

“We are thrilled to host the round 6 Super Rugby Pacific fixture between Moana Pasifika and the Chiefs at Navigation Homes Stadium. This is an exciting moment for the region, and we look forward to welcoming fans to what will be a thrilling match,” said Chad Shepherd, Chief Executive of Counties Manukau Rugby.

Tickets for the match will be available soon.

Fans are encouraged to secure their seats early to witness what promises to be an unforgettable event.
