Third placed Pukekohe hosts fourth placed Manurewa in a key second round match-up in the McNamara Cup at Colin Lawrie Fields on Saturday.
After a slow start Manurewa has pulled to within touching distance of the leading sides while Pukekohe finished the round robin with a pair of losses.
“Rewa are a very dangerous side if you let them play so our defense is going to have to be on point,” said Pukekohe coach Michael Porter.
“We will have to look after the ball and the set piece will be important.”
Patumahoe hosts Karaka in a top-of-the-table clash at Patumahoe Domain.
The visitors got some revenge after last year’s grand final when they met in the opening round at Karaka – Patumahoe’s only defeat of the season to date.
Ardmore Marist will look to build on last week’s win when they face Bombay up the hill at Bombay.

Onewhero hosts Drury in a key Sid Marshall Shield match-up at Onewhero. The two sides jointly hold fourth place on the table, so it shapes as a defining match for both clubs.
Waiuku heads to Manurewa, Te Kauwhata hosts Puni, top ranked Weymouth travels to Maramarua while Tuakau hosts Te Kohanga.
Waiuku hosts Patumahoe in the Massey Cup U21 competition at Rugby Park. Elsewhere, Manurewa and Pukekohe meet at Colin Lawrie Fields while Ardmore Marist hosts Karaka at Bruce Pulman Park.
In Bright Cup U19 action, Rua North takes on top ranked College Rifles of Auckland, Patumahoe and Ardmore Marist meet in Patumahoe while Waiuku and Pukekohe square off in Waiuku.
Karaka meets Bombay in U85kg play at Karaka Sports Complex. Pukekohe is home to Fraser Tech from Waikato, Drury hosts Morrinsville Sports, while Beachlands Maraetai is at home to the Cattle Dogs.
