Counties Manukau representative Cam Roigard has been named in the first All Blacks squad of the year while Dalton Papalii joins him as cover.
Roigard, who has played nine test matches since his debut in 2023, was an obvious choice in Scott Robertson’s first squad of the year after another superb season with the Hurricanes in Super Rugby Pacific.
Papalii was initially over-looked for the squad after a quiet Super Rugby season with the Blues but earned a late call-up as cover for Luke Jacobson
The All Blacks face France in a three-test series starting next weekend.
