Ardmore Marist hosts Manurewa in a key McNamara Cup fixture at Bruce Pulman Park on Saturday with both sides vying for a playoff berth.

The home side has been a much-improved outfit in 2025 and will see a spot in the semi-finals as reward for the progress they’ve made.

Manurewa started the season slowly but have worked their way into a top four spot and were very unlucky not to beat Pukekohe last week.

“Rewa will be desperate and highly motivated, so we need to try and stop their momentum early and keep on top of them,” Ardmore Marist coach Suliasi Taufalele told Counties Sports Hub.

“Its basically a final for us if we want to make the top four so it is do or die for us.”
