Girls Can Tackle Anything Townsville

What is the Girls Can Tackle Anything Program?

The Girls Can Tackle Anything (GCTA) program, created by Queensland Rugby and delivered by regional rugby bodies, encourages girls aged 7–12 to get involved in rugby.

The program supports both new and returning players by developing fundamental rugby skills, building confidence, and improving game understanding in a fun and supportive environment.

Open to all skill levels, sessions are delivered by local women’s and junior girls’ coaches who act as positive role models, while helping grow strong participation pathways and girls-only junior competitions across Queensland.
