NSW Country Rugby Union and Regional Australia Bank have renewed their partnership for a further 12 months, reinforcing a shared commitment to strengthening grassroots rugby and the communities it supports across regional New South Wales.
Now entering its fourth year, the partnership continues to support the clubs, volunteers and players who are central to the game across NSW Country Rugby’s nine zones.
As part of this partnership, Regional Australia Bank’s Community Partnership Program (CPP) will continue to provide clubs and community groups across our nine zones with an ongoing avenue for financial support, helping return funds to local communities through everyday banking activity.
This is complemented by a broader focus on working alongside clubs to understand financial challenges and support volunteers and members to run strong, sustainable organisations.
NSW Country Rugby Union President Renee Park said the renewal reflects a strong alignment between the two organisations.
“Regional Australia Bank understands the role rugby plays in regional communities. Their commitment goes beyond sponsorship. It’s about backing the people, the volunteers and the clubs that keep the game alive across the country. We’re proud to continue building on what has already been a highly impactful partnership.”
David Heine said the partnership reflects the bank’s role in supporting regional communities.
“Rugby is woven into the fabric of regional NSW, and so are we. As a member-owned bank, we exist to support the long-term prosperity of the communities we serve. Through this partnership, we’re not only reinvesting in local clubs, but working alongside them to build financial strength and sustainability over time.”
The partnership will continue to focus on strengthening participation, supporting volunteers and delivering meaningful outcomes for regional communities across NSW.
