Fresh off a Super Rugby Pacific debut, Queensland young gun Frankie Goldsbrough will feature for Reds U20s against their NSW counterparts at Ballymore on Saturday.

Goldsbrough came off the bench last week in Christchurch after the Reds' defeat to the Crusaders.

The Easts star will start in the centres in the U20s match (2:15 pm AEST) alongside Xavier Rubens, who started on the wing at last year's U20 TRC.

Reds squad member Trevor King has also been named at prop as he gets set to feature at the U20 World Championships for the third straight year.

Australia U18s heroes Tom Robinson and Tom Howard will also start. Howard was recently named to the Global Youth Sevens team of the tournament after helping Australia win.

For NSW, lock Eamon Doyle captains the team after featuring for the Waratahs in their pre-season trials.

Doyle and flyhalf Joey Fowler came off the bench during their trial against Kubota last November, spending the pre-season with the SRP squad.

Exciting centre Liam Grover starts in the midfield, with the Waratahs fresh off a 38-14 win over the Western Force U20s, whilst Zac Fittler will come off the bench.

In the U18s (12:15 pm local time), Fowler's younger brother Jonty starts at flyhalf, with Angus Grover captaining the side.

Impressive back-rower Justice Taumoepeau will start at number eight after captaining the Australia U16s team against the NSW Waratahs U17s last December.

Former Reds junior Ed Kasprowicz had been named in the second-row.

As for the Reds, Kingsley Uys and William Ross headline a stacked pack after signing deals with Queensland and Australian Rugby last month.

Both 17-year-olds inked three-year development deals until the end of 2027 in collaboration with Rugby Australia through the National Youth Retention Strategy.

Trevyon Pritchard, brother of Brumbies rising star Kadin, starts in the back three alongside Myles Rosemond and Nick Conway.

The Reds have also named Oliver Nasser on the bench, the younger brother of Bella and Josh.
