Puni have won the Sid Marshall Cup after defeating Waiuku 34-22 in the final at Navigation Homes Stadium in Pukekohe on Saturday.

Having come through the second round as the top ranked side in the Cup bracket, Puni backed up their favouritism with a convincing win in the decider.

Waiuku did well to upset Manurewa in the semi-finals the week before but weren’t able to take it to Puni.

The President’s grade final between Ardmore Marist and Pukekohe finished in a 0-0 draw – the trophy and medals were shared between the two clubs.
