Pursuant to clause 7.6 of the Constitution of the Wellington Rugby Football Union, at every A.G.M., two Directors are required to retire from office. This includes, first, any Director who wishes to retire and does not offer to stand for re-election, and second, those Directors who have been longest in office since their last election, subject to the provisions of Rule 7.5.
This year the two applicable Directors are Catherine Rossiter-Stead and Tracey Kai.
Clubs are reminded of the provisions of Clause 7.2.1 of the Constitution as follows: Nomination of Candidates
Any Club or Affiliated Body seeking to nominate a Director to fill a position provided for in Rule 7.1(c) regarding appointed Directors, shall forward such nomination to the CEO. The nomination shall be in writing in the form prescribed by the Board of Directors, shall accompany a curriculum vitae ("CV") of the nominee and shall be signed by the Secretary or other proper officer of the nominator pursuant to a resolution of the governing body of such nominator. If your Club would like to make a nomination for the Board, please ensure that this, along with a curriculum vitae, is received in writing to me by the close of business on Wednesday 12 February 2025.
