The PR7s All Star tournament is a first of its kind, bringing the best rugby sevens talent in the United States all onto one pitch. The Paris 2024 Olympics were a record-breaking experience, creating a wave of excitement around rugby which PR7s and USA Rugby are thrilled to build on in Portland. Two of the twelve players named to the Men’s squad are still in search of their HSBC SVNS debut, in Peter Sio Jr and Porter Goodrum. Sio Jr has appeared on the USA radar before, competing with the Men’s Falcons earlier this year; Goodrum the same with the U23 7s during RugbyTown this past summer. David Still makes his way back to the sevens pitch following a year with Anthem Rugby Carolina, while six Paris Olympians return as veterans to the young squad, ready to make their mark.
