Manurewa made it three from three in the Auckland Premier Women’s competition on Saturday when they overcame Silverdale 34-19 at Mountfort Park.

The visitors led early in what proved to be a tight game before the home side slowly took control.

Patumahoe lost for the first time, going down to College Rifles 43-33 in a back-and-forth battle at Patumahoe.

Anthony Campbell’s side led for much of the game and will be disappointed to have given up points at the end.

Pukekohe won for the second time in as many outings in the Women’s Premier Development grade – beating Waitemata 39-14.

Weymouth improved to 2-0 as well, thanks to a 53-5 win on the road at Otahuhu.
