HALF TIME - SCOTLAND 7 AUSTRALIA 3
40 enthralling minutes of Test match rugby comes to a close with Australia shutting down a final Scottish salvo. Blair Kinghorn burst through from a stolen lineout and looked dangerous but the Wallabies' scramble has been superb and Jake Gordon gratefully puts the ensuing scrum pill into touch.
Scotland have enjoyed the lion's share of territory and possession so far but both sides have turned down multiple shots at goal, particularly the hosts.
However, the biggest news from this half is that of Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii with the 21-year-old suffering a suspected broken arm following a heavy collision with Sione Tuipulotu. Andrew Kellaway has moved into the 13 channel with Max Jorgensen moving to the right wing.
37' It's desperate defence and gritty scrummaging keeping Australia alive here as the Scottish wave rolls on. Andrew Kellaway is the saviour this time with a jarring tackle knocking the ball out of Matt Fagerson's clutches before a huge shunt from Allan Alaalatoa earns a much-needed penalty.
34' The Wallabies are holding on - just. Another penalty sees the Scots plug the corner but a little bobble from hooker Ewan Ashwin saves Australia's bacon. Tense times before the break with Angus Bell also receiving attention.
31' Big passage there as the Wallabies defend 15 phases of Scottish attack with Paenga-Amosa and Skelton forcing the clutch turnover. Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii also came off second best from a thumping tackle on Tuipulotu and is being assessed for an HIA now - Max Jorgensen comes into the fray with Andrew Kellaway moving to 13 for now.
25' Good piece of play from the Wallaby debutant Harry Potter puts Scotland back under the pump but the hosts are up for this one. The winger found a little space in behind to force a 5m lineout and Australia had a chance to strike from a 40m platform but the Scottish backrow is firing with Jamie Ritchie forcing the steal on first-phase ruck ball.
22' SCOTLAND TRY! Sione Tuipulotu breaks through for Scotland's first try! Too much territory and possession for the hosts with a 5m lineout play finding its way to the crash-ball skipper and Tuipulotu is unstoppable from there. It's beside the poles too so a simple conversion puts Scotland ahead by four | Scotland 7-3
20' Harry Wilson with a captain's play! The number eight snaffled a missed penalty goal attempt off the posts, claimed a mark inside the 22 and hoofed the ball 35m downfield. Wallabies not out of the woods yet though after a bizarre passage saw them marched 10m earlier - and their discipline is becoming an issue now.
17' There's a crackling energy in the stadium with both sides willing to chance their arm. Will Skelton's carried five times already and both playmakers are chancing their short kicking arsenal to try and turn defences around. Some attention for Len Ikitau on the deck too - we'll keep you posted but looked like a glancing blow to the scone | Australia 3-0
14' A roar ripples around Murrayfield as Will Skelton is penalised for an early lineout drive. Carlo Tizzano is pinged from the subsequent set piece and the hosts maul from 5m out. Finn Russell rolls the dice with a crossfield kick but there's a little too much pepper on that one and it beats Darcy Graham to the dead ball line - exciting stuff from the Scots!
11' AUSTRALIA PENALTY GOAL! Noah Lolesio slots the first points of the game following a series of strong carries from the Wallaby pack deep into the Scots' 22 | Australia 3-0
8' Terrific maul defence from the Scots there - the hosts isolated Brandon Paenga-Amosa at the back and forced the steal under pressure. A relieving penalty should've saved Scotland's bacon but a wonky lineout throw sees possession back with Australia 35m out from an attacking scrum.
6' Lovely move from Noah Lolesio gets the Wallabies down the left flank with Rory Darge giving away a penalty two phases later. Prime lineout opportunity 30m out from the chalk for Australia forces another penalty so the visitors will get a shot from 5m out.
4' An anxious start to this game continues as Scotland threaten to tear Australia apart from set piece only for Russell's pass to be put down in space.
KICK OFF: The Wallabies get a nervy kickoff away as the Scots gift them an early chance after dropping the ball that barely went one metre, let alone ten…
