Gold Coast District Rugby Union has announced a partnership with Australian-owned sportswear company Valour, appointing them as the official and exclusive apparel supply partner for the organisation.

Under the agreement, Valour will design, manufacture and supply playing, training and off-field apparel for the Gold Coast Cyclones, along with a supporter merchandise range accessible to players, members and families across the GCDRU community.

Valour specialises in high-performance teamwear, supporter merchandise and retail solutions for sporting organisations. Their approach combines innovative design, advanced fabric technology and ethical manufacturing, with an established portfolio of partnerships spanning netball, athletics, basketball and school sport programs across Australia.

A dedicated GCDRU online store - hosted on Valour's e-commerce platform and linked directly from gcdru.com.au - is currently in development and expected to launch shortly. The store will offer a range of supporter apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, caps and accessories, with further seasonal releases planned throughout the partnership.

GCDRU Chairman Jed Hogan welcomed the partnership as an important step for the organisation.

"Partnering with Valour is a great outcome for our entire rugby community. Having a dedicated apparel partner means our players, families and supporters can wear GCDRU with real pride - on and off the field. Valour understands that, and we couldn't be more excited to have them on board as we drive the game forward together."

Valour QLD Sales Manager Mick Adams said the company was proud to be supporting grassroots rugby on the Gold Coast.

"At Valour we believe sport is built on identity and connection, and merchandise plays an important role in bringing those communities together. Through this partnership we look forward to delivering high-quality apparel that players, families and supporters can wear with pride representing the GCDRU community both on and off the field."

Further details on the online store launch will be communicated through GCDRU's website and social media channels in the coming months.
