The Wallabies are itching to be involved in next year’s historic ANZAC Day Bledisloe Cup match in Brisbane following Sunday's announcement of the first match between the two nations on the special day.
The fixture is locked in for 2027, 2029 and 2031, returning the series to a three-Test series for the first time in 2021.

For Wallabies skipper Harry Wilson, the prospect of a packed Suncorp Stadium is what dreams are made of.
“I think it will be hugely special to be able to represent your country on a day like that," Wilson said.
"It's probably one of the most important days in the calendar being Australian and a Kiwi, and to have the two teams going at it on the same day in such a big test match is really exciting.”
“It's something in Australian rugby, which everybody wanted to be a part of, an ANZAC Day match against the Kiwis. It's going to be a really special day and to see it signed on and being in Brisbane, it's really exciting.”
“It’s really exciting to be able to play an ANZAC Day Test in Brisbane against the All Blacks, which is going to be a special day,” flanker Fraser McReight added.
Wilson and his fellow Reds teammates has been involved in previous matches on the ANZAC Day weekend against the Blues.
He believes a Test will only ramp up the intensity, with all eyes on the clash across the world.
“This match will be massive in the international sporting calendar.
“Obviously, there'll be no other test matches going on at the time, and everyone always loves watching a Bledisloe Cup match, but on ANZAC Day in the middle of the year, when it's the only test match on, it'll be a massive event,” he believes.
“I've got no doubt a lot of Kiwis will make the trip across the Tasman. It's obviously such a special day to be playing rugby.”
Past discussions have been led by RA CEO Phil Waugh on getting the fixture on the calendar.
He believes this is the perfect time and way for the game to mark the sacrifice of those who have served their country, including several past Wallabies and All Blacks.
“ANZAC Day is one of the great days in Australian history, reflecting on our past and those who sacrificed so much and then connecting with our communities,” Waugh said.
“To have Australia versus New Zealand who are such close allies off the field to cross the white line and play at such an iconic stadium and in an iconic sporting city, is going to be very exciting.
“I think it's been in the pipeline for some time. I think with the nature of the global calendar and the nature of the global season for rugby, it's been a little bit more difficult but I think it's really exciting with a few new changes in Super Rugby to then elevate the game by having an ANZAC Bledisloe right in the middle of it.
“We're thrilled that we're getting it underway in a World Cup year and it kicks off 2027's international season with what could be one of the biggest games of the year."
