The Queensland Premier Rugby Finals schedule for 2026 has been confirmed with the season culminating with grand finals at Ballymore Stadium across the August 29-30 weekend.
Ballymore Stadium will be humming as host of the grand final of the Sumo Energy Hospital Cup on Sunday, August 30.
The Sumo Energy Founders Cup will have its own spotlight. It will be played at Ballymore Stadium on Saturday, August 29 as the climax of the women’s Premier Rugby competition.
The Queensland Rugby Union has also confirmed the venues and schedule for the semi-final and preliminary finals which will commence on Saturday, August 15.
The major semi-finals in the Hospital Cup and women’s Founders Cup will be played on Saturday, August 15 on the three fields at GPS Rugby Club during a full day of nine finals matches with lower grades and Colts.
The focus will be at Easts Rugby Club on Sunday, August 16 when the minor semi-finals in the Hospital Cup, Founders Cup, lower grades and Colts will be played on the two fields at Bottomley Park on another bumper day of finals rugby.
Week two of the finals will head to Sunnybank Rugby Club. On Saturday, August 22, the preliminary finals in Founders Cup, seconds, thirds, fourths and fifths plus Colts 2 and 3 will be played.
It's back to Sunnybank on Sunday, August 23 for the preliminary finals in Hospital Cup, seconds and Colts 1.
The three-week finals schedule will culminate in all grades playing grand finals at Ballymore Stadium.
Tickets for the QPR Grand Finals – for both Saturday and Sunday – will be on sale soon.
