RugbyWA is looking for people who have a passion for Female Rugby and are currently involved with the female rugby community competition to join us on the Female Rugby Advisory Committee.
This committee (including current members) will help drive the future and growth potential of Female Rugby in WA. This will include both the senior and junior game across all formats. We are seeking people to apply with a wide-ranging set of skills and experience in female rugby community from coaches, club officials, club managers and players from social right though to Premier Grade.
The Female Rugby Advisory Committee will:
- Discuss the future of Female Rugby in WA and how we can continue to grow the game;
- Assist with planning for the growth of the female senior and junior game;
- Help in planning the calendar and fixturing for the female game;
- Outline of the rules and guidelines for the female game;
- Assist with the planning of Women in Rugby Rounds and other women’s events in line with the RugbyWA calendar.
The Committee will aim to meet three times per year, with the first meeting of 2026 scheduled for April. Meetings will be held in the afternoon, in person, from 5:30PM - 7:30PM on a Monday evening, subject to change.
Committee members will be expected to:
- Members will attend meetings in person at the Rugby WA boardroom;
- Members will contribute positively to the conversation;
- Members will respect each other opinions while bring robust debate to the table;
- Member understand the final decision remains with RugbyWA and this is an advisory body only.
