As part of Rugby Victoria’s continued investment in talent development, EOIs are now open for two specialised roles within the Rugby Victoria Elite Academy, supporting some of the state’s most promising emerging athletes.
The available Academy roles include:
Working alongside the Head of Elite Pathways to deliver the rugby program, implement RV’s game model and blueprint, support talent ID, and coach across multiple state team campaigns throughout the year.
A part-time, contract-based role leading the physical development program for the Academy and providing S&C coverage across multiple State Teams.
Rugby Victoria has also opened EOIs for staff across its broader 2026 Pathway and High Performance programs, supporting campaigns from U15 through to Senior Men’s and Women’s State Teams, across both XV and 7s formats.
Expressions of interest are now open for:
- Coaches (Head & Assistant Coaches)
- Strength & Conditioning Coaches
- Medical Staff (Physiotherapists & Sports Trainers)
- Rugby Analysts
- Team Managers
These roles contribute to creating high-quality, player-centred environments across regional academies and state-level representative programs, with opportunities to work alongside experienced performance staff and contribute to a unified RV–RA talent pathway.
Rugby Victoria’s Elite Pathways Manager, Braydon Peterson, said the recruitment drive reflects a continued investment in long-term player and coach development across the state.

The 2026 program structure includes expanded academy offerings, increased integration with national frameworks, and a strong focus on coach development and multidisciplinary performance support.
