After a scintillating season, Ariana Ramsey has been named to the 2026 Dream Team

With 23 USA caps to her name, Olympian Ramsey had a knockout season that saw her transition into the scrumhalf position for the USA Women’s Eagles adding another string to her lighting speed bow.

Ramsey’s relentless work rate on both sides of the ball, pairing her speed and rugby IQ to both score tries and track down attackers on defense, caught the attention of World Rugby putting her in strong company alongside the 6 other Dream Team athletes.

Honored to be in good company, Ramsey commented;

“It's amazing for the U.S. to be recognized. I'm so happy to put on for American rugby, and show the hard work that we put in every single day - and it’s paying off.”

“We’re going for gold! - that's all I’m going to say.”

Ahead of the HSBC SVNS World Championship Final in Bordeaux, France, when they announced the individual award shortlists. Named a finalist for the World Rugby Women’s Sevens Player of the Year, Ramsey officially became the first American woman in history to be a finalist for the sport's highest individual honor, standing alongside New Zealand's Jorja Miller and Australia's Maddison Levi.

This 2025–2026 Sevens Series showcased Ariana Ramsey speed and flair as the USA Women’s Eagles took the circuit by storm and established a foundation for the upcoming 2 years as they build towards LA2028.

With consecutive podium finishes and a 4th place overall season placement, Ramsey and the USA Women’s Eagles Sevens are giving USA fans more to cheer about as they approach the home Games.
