Grand Final day at Viking Park delivered everything: close battles, dominant performances, and upsets across the park. Under warm winter skies with the promise of spring in the air, six competitions, six deciders, and six sets of players who left everything on the field in front of a packed home crowd at Tuggeranong.
When the final whistle sounded across the afternoon, four clubs had written their names into the 2026 history books.
Tuggeranong Vikings claimed the BentSpoke John I Dent Cup with a nerve-ending 27–23 win over Canberra Royals, and the club's Colts and Fourth Grade sides also claimed silverware to make it three premierships for the day.
But Gungahlin Eagles were not to be denied in the BentSpoke Premier 15s, running out convincing 33–17 winners over the Tuggeranong Viqueens, while Western District Lions were dominant in Premier Third Grade with a 48–17 statement victory. Uni-North Owls rounded out the day in style, defeating Tuggeranong Vikings 20–17 in a tight Spence Cup decider to claim the club's own piece of glory.
A historic day, and one that will be talked about in ACT rugby for a long time to come.
