Under head coach Vern Cotter the Auckland-based outfit have been undefeated on home turf in 2024, including Friday’s convincing 34-20 Semi-Final victory over the ACT Brumbies.

Meanwhile the Chiefs secured back-to-back Grand Final berths with a stunning 30-19 Semi-Final upset of minor premiers the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday.

The club fell to the Crusaders in last year’s decider but have earned another shot at claiming their first Super Rugby title since 2013.

Super Rugby Pacific Chair Kevin Malloy is anticipating a highly entertaining Grand Final at Eden Park on Saturday night.

“The 2024 season has been an excellent spectacle, with solid results on and off the field,” Malloy said.

“Both the Blues and the Chiefs have delivered outstanding campaigns and I have no doubt Saturday’s Grand Final clash will be some of the most exciting, competitive rugby we’ve seen this year.

“Rugby fans across the Pacific will get to enjoy a night of world-class action with two clubs doing everything in their powers to lift the Super Rugby Pacific trophy.”

Tickets for the Grand Final will go on sale to the public from 9AM NZST Tuesday 18 June.

The Super Rugby Pacific Grand Final will be broadcast live and exclusive on Sky Sport (New Zealand) and Stan Sport (Australia) and associated rights holders internationally.
