Empire Rugby is proud to congratulate Old Blue on capturing the 2026 USA Rugby Men's Club 7s National Championship, capping off one of the most remarkable seasons in American club rugby history.
Old Blue secured the national title with a hard-fought 17-12 victory over NOVA Rugby in the championship match, demonstrating the resilience, skill and composure that defined its run through the tournament. The victory adds another national championship to an already historic campaign for one of Empire Rugby's flagship clubs.
With the championship, Old Blue becomes the first club in USA Rugby history to win both the 15s National Championship and the Club 7s National Championship in the same season.
Earlier this year, Old Blue claimed the USA Rugby Men's D1 National Championship with a 48-28 victory over Seattle Rugby Club. By adding the 7s crown with its victory over NOVA Rugby, the club has completed an unprecedented championship double, showcasing excellence across both formats of the game.
