A final newsletter to wrap up the year.
🏉 Taupō team – our Year 8 team had a great time in Taupō in September finishing up their time with the Junior RAMS. We look forward to seeing all the good things these kids will get up to in the future
🐏 Girls Festival – We had four teams at the Girls Festival at Avalon Park in October, it rained the whole time and the girls loved it, hopefully the love continues next season and we see our registrations increase for the newly formed girl’s competition. More details on that coming from Wellington Rugby in 2026.
🏉 Still got some Junior RAMS gear sitting around at home? Please get in touch with us, or drop stuff off to the reception at the Maidstone Hub. We have about 25 jerseys still outstanding, emails will go to parents in the New Year.
🐏 Thanks to Nuku Ora - we were lucky to receive a grant from their Tū Manawa Active Aotearoa fund in our 2025 season. This covered overdue fees and some more sessions in the green room for our teams.
🏉 Thanks to those that came down to get involved in the UH Santa Parade too, we can’t remember the last time the RAMS were in a Xmas Parade, we can see this becoming a new tradition to finish up the year.
