We had a fantastic time hosting our neighbours from over the hill in our annual Upper Hutt Junior Rugby exchange day. Hundreds of children from both Upper Hutt and Paraparaumu Rugby Club enjoyed a fantastic morning of rugby at the Paraparaumu Rugby Domain.

Despite the weather, we had a massive turnout and managed to cook a few hundred sausages for our tamariki for free.

A massive thank you to Upper Hutt Rugby for making the trip and bringing the good vibes. To our club, thank you to our committee and our volunteers for helping to organise this event.

We were blessed with a beautiful Sunday morning at Te Atiawa Park for our annual fixture against Waikanae. The Dane Coles Cup is a rugby competition between junior clubs Paraparaumu and Waiakane.

We usually have a team represented at each year level, with each club awarded a point for each team win. After the days; games, Paraparaumu was victorious and was crowned champions for 2024.

Next year, Waikanae will host Paraparaumu.
