Rugby Indiana and the Northwest Indiana Youth Rugby Club are thrilled to announce the upcoming FREE Rugby Try on Days in the cities of Hobart and Hammond Indiana!
We're officially ready for you to register through USA Rugby's 'Try on Rugby' program! Registration is completely free. Any interested youth are encouraged to join us for a quick introduction to rugby. This is a fantastic way to learn about the game of rugby, develop new skills, meet new friends, and learn more about Youth Rugby in Indiana.
Events Details: Who can play: This event is open to children in grades K-8. Dates:

Parents Meeting - There will be a parents meeting for the first 30 minutes of each camp from 11AM-11:30AM. All participating children must have a parent attend at least one parent meeting.
If you have already attended a parents meeting, you are welcome to attend additional parents meetings that will talk about and brainstorm plans for creating an annual league here in Northwest Indiana. Northwest Indiana Rugby club is dedicated to education and safety and have been involved in the area for over 50 years. We are excited to introduce rugby to the next generation here in Northwest Indiana.
“It is exciting to see rugby being introduced to the youth in Northwest Indiana,” said Rugby Indiana’s Executive Director, Wayne Eells. “Sharing the physical and social/emotional benefits of rugby in Indiana’s communities as an option for youth and high school aged players is important. Especially with the rugby’s World Cup events coming to the US in 2031 and 2033.”
