The NSW Waratahs have renewed their partnership with long-term partner Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation for the 2026 season.
The partnership for the upcoming season will see the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation continue their support as a Platinum Partner of the NSW Waratahs Women’s team. The charity will also see some of their rights extended to the men’s program to drive further awareness of their fantastic work they are doing in the community.
The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation are committed to improving early detection, enhancing quality of life, and increasing survival rates for breast cancer patients across Australia.
The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation logo will once again proudly feature on the upper back of the Waratahs Women’s jerseys, the side that have a remarkable record of six title wins in eight runnings of the Super Rugby Women’s competition.
The Waratahs and Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation have been working together since 2018. The renewal of this positive partnership highlights the shared ongoing commitment to raising breast cancer awareness in the community and supporting the growth of women’s rugby.

“We are extremely passionate about supporting our Waratahs women’s rugby at all levels and I look forward to seeing our women’s teams showcasing the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation logo on their jerseys again in 2026.
“I would also like to sincerely thank Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation Chair, Lynne Crookes, for her continued support of the NSW Waratahs Women. Lynne’s passion, and commitment to making a real difference in the community has been instrumental in the strength of this partnership.”
Foundation Chair, Lynne Crookes OAM, said, "We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the NSW Waratahs Women and the fast-growing game of women's rugby.
“Our vision is to raise greater awareness of breast cancer and encourage more women to get regular screenings. Breast Cancer is not a discriminator, it affects women of all ages, and through partnerships like these, we endeavour to reach new communities that will benefit from this awareness plus encouraging the involvement of women in the game of rugby.
“Be breast aware, know your body, early detection is vital. This message will save lives.”
