The NSW Waratahs have selected a 25-player squad for their under-14s side ahead of the Next Gen tournament at Eric Tweedale Stadium in Merrylands on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 September.
Manly Savers are the most represented club with six players named in the squad, including brothers Arthur and George Hopoate.
Head of Academy & Pathways Andrew Cleverley was excited to see the new group of young talent in action in the tournament, where the team will face off against the Brumbies u15s, Victoria U15s and three Waratahs Next Gen trial sides (U15s).
"I'm looking forward to seeing these lads step up to the rigours of representative rugby," Cleverley said.
"Tournament-style fixtures like this provide an opportunity for selectors to see players' ability and character.
"It's set to be a cracker of a couple of days out at Eric Tweedale with some thrilling games of rugby."
