Victory College 7s

February 27th saw the inaugural running of the Victory College Rugby 7s. In what was a very wet, rainy day in Gympie. The event consisted of local schools secondary schools across gympie as well as Maryborough State High school making the trip down the highway to take part. The day saw the teams compete across under 14, 16 and 18 in the boys divisions, and in the girls we saw under 16 and 18 compete.

Unfortunately, safety protocols ended the day early with the rain settling in and making the surface unfit for the day to proceed.

The event was a great display of the local school rugby community coming together to provide opportunities for their students to further engage in rugby 7s.
