Auckland Rugby has proudly called Eden Park home for generations and we remain grateful for the rights and history we share there under the Eden Park Trust Deed.

As we look to the future, one of the challenges we face is the lack of a high-performance training facility with access to fields/grass.

To give our aspiring and contracted athletes the best opportunity to develop and perform, we must ensure our infrastructure matches our ambitions.

For that reason, we are entering into exploratory discussions with Auckland Cricket, Auckland Council, Eden Park and Government representatives regarding future facility options.

No decisions have been made, and no commitments exist at this stage.

This exploration is not driven by recent changes to Eden Park’s event consent, but by our responsibility to ensure Auckland Rugby remains strong for generations to come.

We will keep you informed as discussions progress and remain committed to open dialogue.
