Kia ora team,
🏉 The season starts the first weekend of May and goes through to the last weekend in August. We need to have our teams built in mid-April, so we are encouraging everyone to get registered before 12th April. We’ve turned off the mandatory payment and will invoice people who haven’t paid up front, so let your friends know. Everyone registered goes in the draw for a $50 refund on their fees for the season, so that means you are already in the draw! Our convenors are starting to build teams but won’t know how the teams will look until mid-late April.
🐏We’ve got a “Have a go at rugby day” this Sunday at Te Kupenga / Maidstone Hub and Maidstone Park. With rugby skills and drills, bouncy castle, food trucks, boot swap, help with registration and more. Come down for a visit between 10:00AM and 2:00PM.
🏉 We’ve also got some pre-season dates that we are planning.
- Sunday 12th and Sunday 19th April
- 10:00 - 11:00 Year 3 to Year 5
- 11:30 - 12:30 Year 6 to Year 8
- Monday 13th, Wednesday 15th and Wednesday 22nd April
- 4:30 – 5:30 Nursery to Y5 and Combined Rippa
- 6:00 - 7:00 Year 6 to Year 8
🐏You can order gear through SAS again, same as last season. They are experiencing shipping delays with stock, and we are working with them to get the stock numbers corrected so you can start ordering.
