Counties Manukau Rugby is proud to celebrate the selection of Sione Molia, Joey Taumateine and Jaymie Kolose in the New Zealand Sevens travelling squad for the upcoming HSBC Sevens tournaments in Vancouver and New York.
The trio will represent New Zealand across the North American legs of the HSBC Sevens Series, taking their speed, skill and physicality from the Hoops to the global stage.
Molia continues to demonstrate his class and experience in the black jersey, while Taumateine is set to return for the first time this season. Kolose will showcase her impact in the high-tempo sevens environment. Their selection reflects not only their individual performances, but also the strength of the pathways and development systems within Counties Manukau Rugby.
Counties Manukau Rugby CEO, Chad Shepherd, said the selections are a proud moment for the union.
“To see three of our players named in the New Zealand Sevens travelling squad is a testament to their work ethic and the standards they set every day. They represent our Union with pride and embody what it means to wear the Hoops.”
The HSBC Sevens Series heads to Vancouver before finishing the North American leg in New York, providing an exciting opportunity for the trio to make their mark on the international stage.
