Fraser McReight is pinged for incorrect entry controversially and Barrett slots the kick from 25 out for the win

KICK OFF

The Blues are set to kick-off, with the Reds to receive, running right to left.

They kick it deep and get the ball 40 metres out to launch the first attack.

AFTER REGULAR TIME: REDS 33 - 33 BLUES
80': Werchon sends it to Super Point

33-all: LOUIS WERCHON!

The Reds march the ball down to the goal-line from their rolling maul and they have advantage.

Ben Volavola is caught inches from the line and his halves partner Werchon slides over and we're off to Super Point.

78': Reds can't regather kick

Blues 33-26: The Blues turn the ball over and the Reds toe it ahead for Tim Ryan.

While he can't get there, they force a loose kick from Beauden Barrett that gives them the lineout 15 metres out.

74': Ryan in the corner gives Reds hope

Blues 33-26: The Reds are mounting a comeback as Tim Ryan finishes spectacularly in the corner.

Treyvon Pritchard slices through the hole and flicks it to Jock Campbell, who passes back to Ryan to aerobatically finish in the corner.

69': Double charge down almost leads to wild Reds try

Blues 33-21: The Blues are force to scramble after a double charge down nearly leads to Nick Bloomfield's try.

Louis Werchon and Tim Ryan both charge down kicks, with Bloomfield just unable to win the race to the ball

63': Blues rumble over

Blues 33-21: The Blues have extended their lead through their rolling maul.

Bradley Slater comes up with the goods as they stay patient to break down the Reds defence and power over.

57': Ryan's clutch try-saver

Blues 28-21: Tim Ryan has came up with an unreal try-saver on Cole Forbes to keep the Reds in this game.

Cole Forbes sprints down the sideline and looks certain to score, but Ryan comes across and wraps him up, putting him into touch.

49': Lineout woes hurting Reds

Blues 28-21: The lineout has been a worry for the Reds, losing another one close to the Blues line.

The Reds attack under pressure and nearly catch Beauden Barrett napping, with Filipo Daugunu unable to re-gather.

45': Thomas drops it over the line

Blues 28-21: Kalani Thomas snipes and palms his way through the defence and is brought down inches from the line, dropping the ball.

Thomas is dragged down by his opposite number Finlay Christie, with the scrumhalf losing the ball as he tries to place it amid several defenders.

42': Papali'i powers over

Blues 28-21: A powerful run from Dalton Papali'i gives the Blues the lead right after the break.

The flanker carries several defenders over the line to restore their lead.

HALF TIME
39': Blues blow try on half-time

21-all: A try goes begging after Patrick Tuipulotu breaks through a gap with seconds left in the half.

He needs to pass to Hoskins Sotutu but instead takes the contact and tries to offload, allowing the Reds to survive and launch their own late counter.

35': Campbell, Reds level score

21-all: The Reds are level after Jock Campbell touches down for a crucial try.

The Reds are rolling at the moment as a couple of half breaks have them inside the Blues 22, with a wealth of numbers on the flank allowing Campbell to get his way over the line

31': Wilson in the corner

Blues 21-14: Harry Wilson reduces the margin after sharp hands puts the number eight over.

The Reds threathen after forcing the turnover from Beauden Barrett, with Jock Campbell throwing the money back inside for Wilson to score.

28': Wilson, Ryan nearly combine for wonder try

Blues 21-7: Tirm Ryan makes a stellar break down the short side, bursting into the 22 before finding Harry Wilson.

Wilson tries to find Ryan once again but the pass hits the deck and the Blues survive.

22': Sullivan makes it a double

Blues 21-7: Zarn Sullivan makes it a double after a long ball from Beauden Barrett frees up his fullback.

It puts him one-on-one with his defender, beating him for pace as he crosses yet again.

18': Wire stops play

Blues 12-7: A weird one as a Reds lineout turns into a Blues scrum after the ball hit the spidercam wires.

The play continued on but the referee brings it back after the slight deflection.

15': Forbes keeps his feet

Blues 12-7: Cole Forbes tip-toes his way down the sidelines to restore the Blues' lead.

His wing partner Kade Banks does great to bat back a high ball as they spread wide for Forbes to score.

9': McReight hits back

7-all: The Reds have instantly answered as Fraser McReight dives over from close.

It comes after a great Filipo Daugunu line break, with the Reds going quick from the penalty to allow their flanker to dive over.

6': Sullivan strike first

Blues 7-0: Zarn Sullivan gets the opener after some slick work from the backs.

Beauden Barrett creates the try after dicing through the defence, setting up his fullback for the five pointer.

The winger capitalises on a smart grubber in-behind from Ereatara Enari to dive over in the corner.

The winger sprints clear into space and throws a great offload back inside to his centre as he's falling into touch, with the ex-Rebel finishing off nicely.

HALF TIME
40+1': Meredith struggling

Hurricanes 19-0: Declan Meredith has now twice failed to find touch from the penalty kick for touch.

The flyhalf puts it dead in almost identical positioning to his first effort earlier in the half.

37': Fineanganofo completes hat-trick

Hurricanes 19-0: Fehi Fineanganofo continues his dominance as he completes the hat-trick.

The winger gets the ball on the edge and steps inside to beat the covering defenders for the try.

33': Mistakes piling up for Brumbies

Hurricanes 14-0: The Brumbies start to build phases but as soon as they do so, they drop the ball just about 40 metres out.

It's summed up the half for the visitors, who have struggled to put pressure together.

26': Brumbies in deep trouble

Hurricanes 14-0: The Brumbies are stuck swimming up creek as they battle themselves mainly in this game.

A second lineout is pinched on the Hurricanes' five metre line, before the hosts and Du'Plessis Kirifi get the penalty at ruck time, kicking inside the 22.

The visitors rally to clean their line for now, forcing another turnover inside their 22 shortly afterwards.

20': Brumbies mistakes punished by Fehi again

Hurricanes 14-0: The Brumbies have no answers to winger Fehi Fineanganofo , who scores his second.

It comes off the back of several poor mistakes from the Brumbies, twice kicking it dead while a quick tap from a penalty ends in a mark.

12': Brumbies can't convert

Hurricanes 7-0: The Brumbies get a gift opportunity after a kick out on the full just outside the 22.

They force one penalty against the 'Canes but their lineout five metres out is pinched.

7': Fehi opener

Hurricanes 7-0: The Hurricanes crack through the Brumbies defence as Fehi Fineanganofo adds to his haul.

It's Ruben Love who creates the chance after making the initial break, with Billy Proctor throwing the long ball to the winger for his 11th of the year.

The Brumbies are being made to make tackles early as the Hurricanes dominate field position.

They force the error but are struggling to clear their line, allowing the 'Canes instant access.
