SJRU Spring 7’s Competition has been communicated with all clubs over the past few months. Please find below further information regarding this competition:
Eight week 7’s Rugby Competition (incl Finals in last week) in Term IV 2019
- October 20, 27
- November 3, 10, 17, 24
- December 1, 8
- Ages U11, U13, U15 and U17, allowing for two year entry
- Tackle 7s with U11 and U13 playing half field, U15 and U17 playing full field
Locations:
- At this stage we are still progressing with St Lukes oval for the U11 and U13 age groups
- TG Milner will be the location for the U15 and U17 age groups
- Team registration (rather than player) is now set and registrations are open (closing 14 October 2019)
- Cost per team $880 (min 10 players with maximum 15 however only 12 can sign on per game). This fee has been based on the assumption of a minimum of 10 players per team and there for a per player cost of $11 (inc GST) per round
- The teams will register through try booking however players will register in Rugby Explorer, please scroll down for links.
- The active kids voucher will be able to be used however if your player cost is less the $100 the full voucher will be used without any credit applied.
- Each team needs a minimum of 10 and maximum of 15 and player number does not affect team registration cost
- Will be run through Rugby Explorer and players must register on there to enable selection in team lists.
- Appreciate that there are some teething issues with Rugby Explorer and the fact that the rollover has now occurred. SJRU and RA are working to iron out the bulk of this issues however please be patient.
