80': Reds stop bonus point

Reds 30-21: The Reds halt any hopes of a bonus point from the Brumbies after Corey Toole splits the hosts open.

The visitors spread it wide and hope for a way through but cough it up to delight of the crowd.

78': Edmed misses tough penalty chance

Reds 30-21: Tane Edmed can't convert a long-range penalty to set up a late charge.

The penalty is right on halfway and Edmed sprays it left, going dead in goal.

72': Reds defence holding on

Reds 30-21: The Reds have lifted the intensity late in this game and are squeezing the Brumbies out of the game.

Lukhan Salakaia-Loto sets the tempo with a thumper, before they put the visitors into touch to turnover them over on halfway.

Ryan Lonergan almost pulls off a 50-22 but Josh Flook responds with an even better kick to win a big chunk of territory.

68': Reds add their third three

Reds 30-21: The Reds add another penalty, this time Ben Volavola slotting it with his first touch in the field.

It comes after a powerful scrum wins the penalty right in front, 30 metres out.

64': Reds building pressure

Reds 27-21: The Reds are looking for crucial points to extend their lead after yet another Fraser McReight turnover win.

McReight has three for the night, with the hosts entering the Brumbies half and getting another scrum to launch.

58': Reds respond through Uru

Reds 27-21: Another lead change as Seru Uru dives over the line for the try.

Zane Nonggorr wins the turnover that sets the field position up and after a penalty, Uru finds the line shortly after the quick tap.

53': Feliuai hands Brumbies lead

Brumbies 21-20: Suddenly, the Brumbies are in front as David Feliuai gets a well-earned try.

The centre starts the attacking opportunity with a great burst and backs it up close to the line to burrow over.

45': Bobby hits back

Reds 20-14: Rob Valetini delivers a timely five pointer for the Brumbies to reduce the lead.

The Reds turn it over from kick-off and David Feliuai delivers a strong burst, backed up phases later by the number eight for the try.

43': HMP another three

Reds 20-7: Harry McLaughlin-Phillips adds another three points to extend the lead.

It's their fourth of the year - all four pens from the Reds have been against the Brumbies

HALF TIME: REDS 17 - 7 BRUMBIES

39': No Flook this time

Reds 17-7: Josh Flook snatches a Kalani Thomas grubber from out of the air for a crucial five pointer.

With the Reds under penalty advantage, the scrumhalf puts it on the toe and Flook wins the race ahead of Ryan Lonergan.

33': Rain follows the Reds

Reds 10-7: Death, taxes and the Reds playing in rain.

It's inevitable as the Reds search for points inside the Brumbies 22 after the penalty goes against Andy Muirhead for killing the ruck, with the conditions leading to the ball spilling out.

25': Rare three for HMP

Reds 10-7: A sign of what this game means as Harry McLaughlin-Phillips nails three points from right in front.

It comes after Fraser McReight's second turnover penalty of the night, killing the visitors at ruck time.

23': Brial the next Red stopped

7-all: Joe Brial suddenly breaks free after latching onto the loose ball following Rob Valetini's mistake.

Brial sprints 50 metres and is brought down by Corey Toole, with the back-rower too eager to get up and go again and is pinged for not releasing.

21': HMP breaks game open

7-all: Harry McLaughlin-Phillips sparks the Suncorp crowd with a solo effort through the Brumbies defence, although is unable to find Harry Wilson in support.

Former Red James Slipper gets his hands over the ball for the turnover after the Reds are caught napping.

19': Brumbies holding tough

7-all: The Brumbies have responded to the rise in physcality as they force the error from the Reds.

It comes as the hosts start to dominate territory, with a great kick from Kalani Thomas pinning them inside their five.

11': Reds muscling up in defence

7-all: A dogged defensive stand from the Reds after the early try as they force quality errors.

It starts with a pilfer penalty caused by Fraser McReight, with Filipo Daugunu then delivering a thumping tackle on Toby Macpherson to force him out.

7': Salakaia-Loto responds

7-all: Lukhan Salakaia-Loto gets one back instantly for the Reds after a mistake from the kickoff from the Brumbies.

They win a penalty and kick to the line, setting the perfect scene for the lock to power his way over for the try.

4': Shaw he's got there

Brumbies 7-0: A fast start from the Brumbies as Lachie Shaw burrows over for his fourth of the season.

Ryan Lonergan goes quick from the tap five metres out and it puts the Brumbies back on the goal-line, allowing the second-rower to dive over.

KICK OFF

Declan Meredith launches the ball deep and this game is underway.

Harry Wilson takes the ball cleanly for the Reds as they quickly launch a box kick to clear their 22.
