The Western Force is thrilled to confirm the re-signing of exciting full-back Mac Grealy on a two-year deal, extending his stay in WA until 2028.

The 24-year-old, who rounded out an outstanding team try in Saturday’s 42-19 win over former club Queensland Reds, enjoyed a stellar debut season in Force blue last year.

Grealy’s 2025 campaign led to a maiden Australia A call-up last October along with inclusion in the AUNZ Invitational side against the British & Irish Lions in July.

Toowoomba-born Grealy, who can also play wing, didn’t miss a game in the 2025 Super Rugby Pacific season and finished second in the competition for metres gained (878) and sixth for defenders beaten (41).

Grealy has tallied 19 games since switching from the Reds to the Force, taking his Super Rugby career tally to 45 caps. He’s a player with a high work rate and desire to improve.

Force head coach Simon Cron said: “Mac had an amazing season in 2025 including making Australia A.

"He continues to be an important cog in our team as you saw from his standout performance on Saturday.

“He brings a lot of humour to the team which is great for the culture. He’s still young with plenty of upside.

“He’s a great player and a great man, who is always wanting to learn and is very receptive to feedback which makes coaching him a pleasure."

Grealy's re-signing follows on from lock Lopeti Faifua re-committing to the Force last week.

Grealy said: "I'm super stoked to be staying on board at the Force for the next two years. I've really enjoyed my time in the west so far and am looking forward to staying here long term.

"It’s obviously hard to beat the Perth lifestyle, particularly in summer. For me, I really believe I’ve found the place where I play my best footy. Since coming over I’ve built so many strong relationships with so many players and staff and I look forward to continuing to grow them.

"Personally, I want to leave a mark in the west, I didn’t want to be someone who used this place as a stepping stone. I want to help bring success to this franchise and believe we’ve got the people to do it.

"I believe the club is in a great spot to continue to grow moving forward. There’s a great mix of youth and experience in the group, and a lot of blokes who love being in the west and want to win.

"A lot of us have now spent a fair bit of time here and those connections will go a long way in us winning a lot more games. I believe the weekend is only just the start of us showing what we can do as a group and that’s really exciting moving forward."
