Counties Manukau Rugby Football Union is proud to celebrate Te Kauwhata Rugby Football Club, who have been named as one of 12 recipients in the first round of New Zealand Rugby’s Legacy Fund.
The club has received funding to enhance facilities for Women and Girls rugby, a vital investment that will support fit-for-purpose spaces and enable greater participation for the club. This project aligns strongly with our collective commitment to growing the women’s game and ensuring our players, coaches, and whānau have access to quality environments both on and off the field.
Women’s facility development and accessible rugby programmes were at the forefront of this first funding round, with Te Kauwhata RFC’s vision and community impact standing out among the successful applicants.
