The Western Force will celebrate Kids Round at HBF Park this Saturday night against the Fijian Drua with a range of initiatives including juniors going free with every paying adult.

Kids Round is about encouraging juniors to play rugby and families attending Super Rugby games, with the Force pulling out all stops.

The Club will offer one free junior ticket (ages up to 15), with every paying adult, meaning tickets for two are from $28 via Ticketmaster.

Tickets are on sale now for the Force's next home game in Kids Round against the Fijian Drua on Saturday 23 May 5:35pm via Ticketmaster. JUNIORS GO FREE, with a paying adult. Book here.

There will also be a range of kid-friendly activations at the Gate 1 Fan Zone including the Fiesta Balloon Ride, Airbrush Tattoos, bouncy castle, obstacle course, Pass The Ball inflatables and more.

As part of the Kids’ Round activations, the Force with the support of HBF Park and caterer VenuesLive are offering $12 kids meal deals (hot dog/nachos, juice and giant freddo), along with special blue ice creams from KBS Creamy Creations situated at Gate 1.

The first 1000 kids through gate one will get a free ice cream with the Western Force cheer crew handing out tokens to redeem at the KBS Creamy Creations van.

The ever-popular Fans on Field will be held after the game, allowing kids to meet their heroes, get selfies and autographs.

Pre-game, children and teenagers from Perth Children’s Hospital will form a guard of honour as the two teams run on. Juniors from Mandurah Pirates will run on with the Force players as part of the Next Gen Run On crew.

At half-time, there will be the Harvey Beef Juniors. Fan favourite mascot Westy will be out on the field and among the crowd too.

During the week, the Force will have Junior Journalists at HQ, with young reporters grilling coach Simon Cron and players with their burning questions.

The Club’s social media channels will publish childhood photos of the players and feature jersey designs from the junior colouring-in competition.

Force general manager of business operations Tyson Beattie said: “Kids Round is a great way to highlight the joy and excitement that kids bring to the game of Rugby.

“Our players all fell in love with the game as kids and that is where that passion begun so it’s really exciting to offer some great promotions including our free junior offer, the activations in the Fan Zone and the fans on field after the game.”

HBF Park acting general manager Kim Dodds said: “HBF Park and VenuesWest is thrilled to support Super Rugby Pacific Kids Round and the Western Force.

“HBF Park provides a family friendly environment and we hope the fans enjoy the promotions on offer and get to the ground early to soak up the atmosphere.”

VenuesLive food and beverage manager Laine Anderson said: “Our kids’ meal packs offer some great value for families and parents looking for a great, affordable meal at HBF Park for Kids Round.”

Kick-off for Saturday’s game is 5:35pm WST, with tickets available through Ticketmaster.
