Injury Update: Rhys van Nek injury

The ACT Brumbies can provide the following injury update ahead of this weekend’s Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific fixture.

Prop Rhys van Nek has sustained a thumb injury and will undergo further surgical assessment to determine the extent of the injury and an appropriate return-to-play timeline.

Outside back Ollie Sapsford has sustained a hamstring injury and is expected to be sidelined for approximately three to five weeks as he undertakes rehabilitation.

Scrum-half Dan Nelson has fractured his fibula in his lower leg. He will undergo further specialist assessment in the coming days, however the injury is likely to rule him out for the remainder of the season.
