Gold Coast District Rugby Union today announces changes to its Board of Directors as we gear up for an exciting 2025 season.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Jason Baker, who has served diligently as our Finance & Audit Manager.

During his tenure, Jason's financial acumen and strategic oversight have been instrumental in strengthening GCDRU's financial position and governance structures. His commitment to transparency and sustainable growth has laid a solid foundation for our future success.

Whilst Jason steps down in a full time capacity, he will continue to advise the board on financial matters whilst a permanent replacement is sought.

The GCDRU is delighted to welcome Adam Fahey to the Board.

Many in our rugby community already know Adam as the driving force behind our successful Cyclones representative program over the past two years. Under his leadership, the Cyclones program has flourished, establishing itself as Queensland's premier country rugby pathway. Adam's passion for development, strategic thinking, and proven track record in nurturing talent will be invaluable assets to the Board.

This transition comes at an exciting time for rugby, as we enter a golden decade for rugby on Australian shores.

Please join us in thanking Jason for his outstanding service and welcoming Adam to his new role as we work together to further strengthen rugby on the Gold Coast.
