The Western Force will visit the northern suburbs community this Thursday afternoon ahead of Saturday’s historic Swyftx Super Rugby Pacific clash with the Blues at Joondalup Arena’s HIF Health Insurance Oval.

Saturday’s game marks the first time Super Rugby will have been played at the Joondalup venue, offering a great opportunity for the club to connect with the community and the northern suburbs, with the game titled ‘Force In The North’.

The Force will train at HIF Health Insurance Oval on Thursday afternoon, before holding three separate activations in the Joondalup community.

Working with RugbyWA, the Force will hold a clinic with players and coaches at Lake Joondalup Baptist College from 3:45pm. The players’ session will run from 3:45pm-5:30pm, with free entry and all ages welcome. That will be followed by a coaches’ clinic from 6pm-7pm.

Force players will also head to Lakeside Joondalup Shopping Centre from 3:45pm-4:45pm, with fans able to meet the players, get selfies and autographs, with free posters available. The players will be on Level 2 next to the Nike Store.

There will also be key Force staff such as CEO Niamh O’Connor and general manager of strategic projects Matt Hodgson along with players at Paddy Malone’s on the Grand Boulevard.
