The Western Force will have four representatives in the Wallabies' opening Test of 2026 against Ireland at Allianz Stadium in Sydney on Saturday night, with Jeremy Williams, Dylan Pietsch, Brandon Paenga-Amosa and Ben Donaldson all named in Joe Schmidt's matchday 23.

Force captain Jeremy Williams will start in the second row for his 26th Test appearance, partnering Queensland's Josh Canham in the engine room.

Outside back Dylan Pietsch has been named on the left wing for his tenth Test cap after an impressive Super Rugby Pacific campaign.

Experienced hooker Brandon Paenga-Amosa is set to provide impact from the bench in what will be his 26th Test appearance, while versatile playmaker Ben Donaldson has also been selected among the replacements for his potential 20th Wallabies cap.

The four-player contingent reflects another strong contribution from the Western Force to the national team as Australia opens its 2026 Test campaign against the world's third-ranked side.

Wallabies coach Joe Schmidt said:

"The group has reconnected quickly and we've worked hard over the past week to prepare as best we can for what is an exciting challenge against the number three team in World Rugby.

"Kicking off 2026 at a sold-out Allianz Stadium gives the group a huge lift and we are fully focused on earning every bit of that home crowd support on Saturday."
