With teams qualifying through Regional Pathways and an intense level of competition expected, the event promises to deliver thrilling matches and showcase the growth and passion for rugby in the United States.

Regional Qualification:

To earn a spot in the USA Club 7s National Championships, teams must go through the Regional Pathways. The country is divided into four regions: West, Central, Northeast, and South. Each region consists of sub-regions, with specific teams vying for qualification.

The Regional Pathways ensure that a total of 16 teams, 9 for men and an equal number for women, will earn their place in the national championships. This guarantees a high level of competition as the best teams from each region and sub-region compete for a chance to represent their club on the national stage.

Men’s Seeding:

The West region comprises SoCal, NorCal, PNW, and Frontier. The Central region includes Red River and Midwest. The Northeast region consists of Northeast (sub-region has the same name as the larger region) and MAC. Finally, the South region is made up of Carolinas, Florida, Georgia, and True South.

For the men’s tournament, each sub-region champion from the Rocky Mountain, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Northeast, PNW, NorCal, Red River, SoCal, and South regions will receive a bid to nationals, resulting in a total of nine seeds. Additionally, there will be seven at-large bids awarded, with the selection process currently underway.

Women’s Seeding:

The women’s tournament follows a similar regional qualification structure. The number of seeds allocated to each region at the USA Club 7s National Championships will be determined based on the teams’ strength and performance during the Regional Pathways.
