Critical Match for Karaka & Patumahoe

Patumahoe and Karaka meet at Patumahoe Domain this Saturday in a clash between the two most recent McNamara Cup champions that could determine which one makes the playoffs this season.

The two sides sit third and fourth in the standings at present, with the loser falling to potentially fifth this week.

Karaka managed a narrow win in the first round when the two sides met under lights.

Manurewa can move into a top four spot if they beat neighbours - winless Weymouth - at Laurie Gibbons Reserve.

Top-of-the-table Ardmore Marist hosts Papakura at Pulman Park while Pukekohe and Bombay meet at Bombay Domain.

Waiuku will look protect their top four spot in the Bob Chandler Cup Premier 2 competition when they meet Manurewa at Rugby Park.

Drury can move back into the top four if they were to beat second-placed Onewhero in the Sid Marshall Shield Premier 3 competition.

Pukekohe and Manurewa meet in what should be a tight battle at Colin Lawrie Fields while Puni travel to Maramarua.

Te Kauwhata will put their unbeaten season on the line when they host Karaka while Tuakau and Te Kohanga meet in Tuakau.

Old foes Patumahoe and Pukekohe run into each other in the Massey Cup U21 grade at Clive Howe Field.

Elsewhere, Manurewa hosts RuaNorth while Ardmore Marist travels to Karaka.

In the U85 grade, Drury hosts Beachlands Maraetai, Pukekohe and Karaka meet at Colin Lawrie Fields, Waiuku heads to Patumahoe and Bombay hosts Fraser Tech.

Manurewa faces a road trip to play MK Rangers in the Women’s Premier 1 competition.

Pukekohe hosts Patumahoe in Women’s Premier 2 action while Papakura heads to Northcote and Weymouth travels to Eden.
